After many years in broadcasting and in software development, I have chosen to design and manage websites. This is major step forward for me that gives my creativity a chance to shine having been closeted for many years in the depths of my psyche.

My artistic side has been cooped up there since I was a child when I took great pleasure in drawing birds and animals from nature books and many of the puppets from Captain Scarlet, a 1960’s TV show developed by Gerry Anderson of Thunderbirds fame.

My creativity took another trip in the 1980’s when I began to take an interest in photography.

Technology has changed beyond all recognition since then as nearly everything is digital now. The creative enjoyment for me was from the enlargement and manipulation of the negative to the final print.

Now that nearly everything in photography is done on the computer, I am enjoying the challenge of exchanging the pencil for a mouse. I present my artwork on a website called Shades of Harmony.

Web design requires both my artistic and software skills in copious quantities to be able to manifest the best possible for both my clients and myself. You see I like to enjoy what I am doing.

Like all changes, if you resist them, the pain only increases to a point where you will have to act eventually. To use a well known phrase from the Borg on Star Trek, Resistance is Futile.

I have experienced this pain for many years and so finally surrendered to let a higher power guide me further on this journey called life. It is moving me into a new realm of evolution not only for me but for every person in my life. My journey is a continuing one having broken out from within the chrysalis a few years ago. My philosophy is one of spirit and of Gnosticism, a wonderful way of being with the Source. It has given me a greater understanding of who I am and who the people are in my life. My still mind and heart rests in the Soul and within its nurturing energies.
